Dr. Alberto Salomone is a Forensic Toxicologist working at the Regional Anti-Doping Center of Turin, Italy. The laboratory performs over 300,000 tests per year for road and workplace drug testing, driving re-licensing and drug abuse history. His research activity focuses on hair analysis, with close attention to NPS, alcohol biomarkers and drug-facilitated crimes. He is regularly appointed as expert by the prosecutors or counsels to provide chemical analysis and assessment within complex judicial cases. He co-edited a book about Hair Analysis in Clinical and Forensic Toxicology and authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and several plenary lectures at international scientific meetings. Alberto is the President of EWDTS and member of the most important association for Forensic Toxicology (TIAFT, SOFT, SoHT, GTFI).
