The close link between Technoplus (T+) and the freeparty scene in france has allowed Harm Reduction precepts to reach a traditionnaly hard- to-meet public. The freeparty scene in france has a strong habit of ‚Autogestion‘, literally ‚Auto-management‘, which could be translated as Do It Yourself but with a reference to a hierarchical horizontallity. A ‚Sound-System‘ is a meeting between people with different capacities. Some have loudspeakers, some others trucks, others would be DJ : There is no centralized power of decision, every actor is considered a co-organizer of the event. Decision are taken on the basis of a ‚consensus‘. The philosophy behind T+ is to give volunteers the power of decision and management, while

providing infrastructures upstream and downstream–such as trucks, permises, employees for administrative tasks etc. The volunteers discuss about general topics -militant engagement, T+policy-during our weekly meetings, they select the interventions they want to attend to and organize themselves to do so, allowing a considered choice in every step of the process. The parallel between the two way of taking a decisions has allowed T+to enrole many motivated volunteers and to be recognized by the public as well as the organizers as an indispensable actor.
